Cuvée des Cocus
A symbol of a unique century-old expertise in Champagne, each cuvée is rigorously pressed by the family oak press “DarcqFlamain” via a process dating from 1888. The product of this long-term labor imparts sophistication and rarity to the Joseph Desruets champagnes: a natural and subtle oxygenation accentuating the aromas, offering round and powerful wines. The cuvée des cocus is a rosé wine from our plots of Pinot Noir enjoying a southern exposure ideal for a gourmet and fruity harvest.

The nose is greedy and flowery and highlighted by aromas of cotton
candy, strawberries and custard with some hints of hibiscus and rosehip.
On the palate, the wine is lively, with a fresh and fruity mid-palate on
notes of wild strawberries, gooseberries and ripe raspberries. The finish
is rich and creamy.
